Another task on our "to do" list was to find a Bradley Method class, and we did it! For those curious of what the Bradley Method is, here's a definition, "...emphasizes that birth is a natural process: mothers are encouraged to trust their body and focus on diet and exercise throughout pregnancy; and it teaches couples to manage labor through deep breathing and the support of their partner." Our class is once a week for 12 weeks & is based out of Phoenix, AZ.
SO YAA. I'm a bit stressed. But not an ounce of it is because of the birth. It's more of an anxiety issue over traveling so much in the next three months.
Other than that (little tiny bit of stress) everything else is fantastic thanks to my wonderful boyfriend. Evan has been working his butt off finishing the season, packing & cleaning the apartment. What a guy. I miss that kid.
Tomorrow is my last day in California (till January 14th) then Thor, Lee Ila & I are off to see Daddy and the rest of the Mathis & Baumhower family! Ah, what a relief. As wonderful as it's been to be with my friends and family, I've had a hard time being away from Evan for this long.
When I wake from bad dreams or recent minor pains from Ila moving, I now have no one to turn to in case of "necessary" reassurance. Call me needy but after living with someone for so long, you're just use to it and truly appreciate it. I've been waking up three to five times a night now, making my days much harder to get though. My theory to refrain from napping during the day to sleep through the night doesn't seem to be working. I'll try it eventually, till then I'll be the typical exhausted pregnant girl (with a smile.)
Being creative has helped keep my mind off being tired. Besides fooling around with friends and eating tons of great food, I've been playing with my Christmas present from Evan! He bought me a lens for our Nikon, a fancy lens (that I still need some heavy advice on.) Here are some images that I've taken & played with on Photoshop :)
