32 Weeks

VEGAS BABY! No. Really though, Lee Ila is a Vegas baby. This past weekend, Ev & I took our first trip back to Vegas since July of last year.

My sister-in-law, Karrah and brother Tony have a new addition to their family! Meet Ranger :)

We had a great 24 hours in Vegas. Literally stayed in the room the whole trip. What better way to experience Vegas at 31 weeks pregnant but to lay around in robes, take advantage of the steam room, order a never ending amount of room service and watch Pay Per View all day.

The flights to and from were a little nauseating. I've never been one to get sick on a plane but my stomach does become a bit weak now that there's a human growing inside. I tried to see if there was a difference in her movement when the plane took off and landed and I have to say that there wasn't. She just hung out like normal. My little science project.

No flying this weekend, we will be driving to California for our last visit before Lee Ila's arrival. How I loooove that 8 hour drive .__.

I am looking forward to the trip. My mother and friends are throwing Ev and I our west coast baby shower. I don't know who's going but if you are (or aren't) PLEASE NO GIFTS. Just make an effort to be in my child's life. I have all you close to me because of your kind hearted ways, that alone is worth passing on to the next generation. But if you must, please make all checks out to- JK!

I want to share this for all my pregnant friends out there:

32 Weeks

I give all photo credit to the man of my dreams.

I would like to take a second to share these videos with you.

The man is a beast.

 <3 Happy Valentines Day <3

Everyday is Valentines Day with my man.

Saturday was relaxing, we lounged by the pool & later enjoyed dinner at my new favorite restaurant Fogo De Chao. We spent Sunday miniature golfing & playing arcade games. Ev won me a bracelet making kit, which I still plan on getting him to join in on the craft. Monday was just as lovely, I made homemade whole wheat lasagna. This is when I added whole wheat/grain pasta to my NO GO list during pregnancy.

Random side note- Ha, all you pregnant, once pregnant or PMSing or menopausal women can agree with me here. One moment it's smooth sailing, then the next- BAM, stay clear. It's extremely rare compared to the first trimester but I still have my moments. It's also much easier to recognize. It's realizing that I'm going to cry before it actually happens. Ev suggested I watch the movie Short Circuit the other night and I slapped myself before that first tear. It's a comedy for those who don't know... a comedy. Overall, I'm extremely impressed with my latest skill of not allowing myself to become a sissy.

For Valentines Day 2012, I set up a little Love Shack in our bedroom. Of course Twisted Metal came out for PS3 today so we spent the day playing thaaat. But besides hanging out, I helped the carpet installers as much as I could.

Yes- new carpet. This house has had the same carpet since 1989. 1989 people... that's 23 years of ware and tare. Before & after:

It's just beautiful. The nursery is almost done too! In fact a lot of the house is almost done. I refuse to post pictures until full completion. This may take till the second or third kid, but hey- it'll look fabulous.

Movement!

There's a baby in there.
A beautiful baby girl.

A short clip of Ila smiling. We brought home a 30 minute DVD but I'm having trouble uploading it.
The ultrasound tech shows us with the pointer how her eyes are open when there is a thick dark line.

-Quick Pregnancy Update-
I've gained 11 pounds since conception.
We quit our Bradley Class because we didn't like how opinionated our teacher was.
We found a new teacher who works one on one and happens to be the assistant to our midwife.
The kicks are constant and HARD.
She responds to her daddy's voice.
My skin is clear from new acne but still healing.
I take a 2-3 hour nap everyday now.
Hormonal break downs come and go, sadly.
Still no stretch marks.
